Artist Statement

Katilyn Pulcher is a self-taught artist who creates colored pencil drawings and acrylic paintings. Her journey outward documents her travels to places where people, nature, and buildings are embraced as they are, as they age. She uses her pencils and paint brushes to accentuate the natural beauty she sees and feels, highlighting the new beginning a pathway promises, the naturally bright colors that grow in nature, and the fortitude of a weathered structure. Her abstract pieces are simply a celebration of color.
